Guessing from the way this question was written .. PERHAPS the problem with Communication is because ...

YOU have not learned to Close the mouth, shut down the "attitude" problem, use the Brain (instead of allowing the Hormones to run your life), and yes, LISTEN to the Parent at this time!

Have you even considered that they KNOW so much more than you do ... because they ALREADY have LIVED through the teen years, young adulthood, becoming a parent, and now ..

Have to put up with a Hormonal Raging, disrespectful, nasty, attitude/behavior problematic 'child' at this point in their lives .. one who shows NO ability to sit down, listen, or even care that their parent is HUMAN and DESERVES to be treated with Respect and Dignity (you know, exactly the opposite way of how you normally treat them -- which is lower than the dirt under your feet)!

You can't tell them to shut up,you have to respect. Your parent's are the only one that's gonna be there for you, because they love you even if you do act like a spoiled brat. They don't want you f....ing up.When you are sitting around or doing something together, pick that time to have a little talk about how you're feeling instead of yelling at each other.

just exactly how much do you contribute money wise and help wise around the house to make your parents so bitchy? Or are they so bitchy that they won't give in to your demands? Start working on attitude and respect.

You dont tell your bitchy pearent too shut up o.O
I dont want to go into all of that stuff about them raising you..
I aint gonna waste me time for someone that doesnt know how to respect her pearents.
So, my advice is. Lighten up. Theyre your pearents.
And you DONT tell them to shut up.
And you DONT call them bitchy o.O

say i know ur concerned but i have some things to do then rush off go in your room lock the door and turn on really loud music and if they say turn it down then just tell then to be quiet or try to cry and say u have a migrane and u need quiet. If u want them to really b quiet if u know some TMI embarassing stuff shout it at them and walk away. they'll be on hush mouth

You cant really do anything about it. I have a dad thats is so rude and bitches at everything if it aint dont his way and put us all down so I cant tell you to do anything. Most of the time it makes things worse. So just deal with it until you can get yourself away from all the drama.

want to impress them and get them to shut up... try this...
go talk to them and ask if you can compromise ... ask them what you can do to make it better for them and let them know what ticks you off or hurts your feelings... please try and communicate with them..... I promise it will let them see you in a whole new light .

I can say if you are doing somthng that is harmful etc and that is why they are bitching at you ... it is beacuse they care.

No one will love you in your life as your parents do.

think back to good times and how muchyou love them and then go to them to work it out.

If you have any sense between your ears you'll be the one that shuts up! Your parent does alot more for you now than you'll ever be able to do for her. Close your pie hole and accept responsibility for everything you say, do or are supposed to do!

you do not say anything when two people in a bad mood.
When they are both calm let them know how it hurts you to hear them bitchy, or tape them and replay it for them another day.

Say "I have a head ache, I want to be in the quiet."
But don't use that too often, or they may think somethings wrong with you!
