I have made mine the day before, but like them fresh so I get up a little earlier on the big day. Also, you don't say the age, but instead of cupcakes, the make up nice for little ones in ice cream cones. I fill them a little over half full so they will run over the side a little. I then ice that part also and it looks like ice cream melting. I usually put little sprinkles on them too.

Not too early. I'd wait to frost until Saturday if you have time. I would also suggest refrigerating the cakes until then as well.

If you are making a bunch, get goin, but always remember if you don't feel that you will have time to make them you can always buy a premade cake, or make a healthy and delicious fruit salad!

umm it's a little early but not bad. if this is the only time you can make them, then make them when you can! or, there is always the supermarket.

As long as you keep them in airtight containers, then you can make them today.
