A question is a question at that, and is meant to be answered. An asker needs/wants an answer to his/her question. The problem with some answerers is they get too defensive and they make an issue out of a question. Common sense dictates that "what is uncalled-for" should not be given.

I guess it happens mostly when the asker's question has struck a nerve in the person answering the question. But I agree, I think is they are going to answer the question they should answer it but tone down the emotion.

Hows this for a question. Don't be offended, just answer nice and calmly.

When you were drunk and all those guys got you in bed, did you like it or regret it?

Weird ain't it. Just a simple question but I guess it is how it is posed.

I don't need an answer nor do I want one. Just a sample of how people can skew a question and make it offensive.

When I think of muslems, as opposed to 'moslems', I always think of someone like Fidel Castro, always shaking his finger. Saddam was always pointing his finger at the camera, too. What's all this 'warning' all the time that these razor-shy dudes are doing, anyway? Are we supposed to take anyone like that bearded insecure nutcase seriously when he 'warns' us?
I thought that Fidel character was a joke, even when I was a kid.
He looked like a clown in that stupid uniform. From ragtag to overnight fashion mogul, him. Needs a good barber. Hell, they all need a shave. Are they trying to look all 'macho' or something with that facefuzz? Big Deal. Monkeys can grow a beard, too.
And point their fingers at us. They'll be jumping up and down like chimps next. Wait and see. Goons, all of them. Wow, don't get me started here.

Fair enough!

It appears that people read these questions and somehow take it personally... Very odd, isn't it!?

Common sense?! HAHAHAHA!

That has TOTALLY left our society, very few have that very special gift now-a-days! And doesn't that scream volumes when common sense is considered a gift to have...

Sad...
