find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

To lose weight successfully, you should know the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!
Yes,it is really important. You should know the truth:
1.Low Fat Foods DON'T always WORK...
2.Low Calorie Diets DON'T always WORK...
3.Low Carb Plans DON'T always WORK...
I followed the guide above and I lost 10 lbs in 7 days and then 30 lbs in less than a month.

This is what I do b/c I like to blow it out on the weekends. I don't eat any sugar throughout the week, just protein, vegetables, fruit (only at breakfast) and whole grains for carbs. ( I don't eat any carbs at dinner- just protein and veggies). I drink lots and lots of water all day and I don't eat after 7pm. Then I pretty much eat and drink whatever I want on the weekend- this only works for me though b/c I'm strict about sugar during the week. By the time the weekend rolls around, I don't really won't that much of it. I don't drink any alcohol during the week, just clear liquor on the weekend.

Cabbage soup diet has become one of the popular diets throughout the world. People who want to lose weight must have attempted it or thought about following it at some time or other. Cabbage soup has yucky taste but because people consider it to be beneficial, they opt for it. But besides being a fad diet it can also harm your health. Cabbage soup for rapid weight loss is a very dangerous diet. This is why.

definitely only drink water. 100% juice (because it counts as a serving of fruit) and 1% or skim milk.... those are the only drinks that you should be getting calories from according to many articles i've read in fitness magazine and on yahoo actually. also cut the junk food... avoid food with lots of saturated and trans fats and anything with high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oils. it really helps to just pay really close attention to what you about to put into your mouth... and watch your serving sizes. you can keep track of calories at fitday.com and find nutrition info about your fave foods at nutriondata.com. dieting doesn't mean giving up all your fave foods... just consuming them in moderation. good luck :)

as elementary as it is, take a look at the food pyramid. that will tell you what your body needs. changing your diet is a HUGE ajustment and your body will let you know that its not getting what it's used to.ie caffine headaches or moodiness from lack of sugar. eat greens and dark reds. both great for cleaning out your system of toxins. watch your sugar intake and eat many SMALL meals a day. work out 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes and try and get a cardio session in there a few times a week.

Coffee! Instant coffee. It increases metabolism up to 30%. It's cheap and tasty. But use sugar substitute.
Don't drink any of those slim fast shake things. They're a RIP OFF. They have like 250-300 calories/serving. Just eat a multivitamin everyday, and you'll be fine. Coffee only has like 50 calories, with the cream. And it kills hunger, makes u happy (binds to dopamine receptors in the brain), and clear-headed.
Also, eat broccoli, like 2 cups a day instead of carbs. Only like 40 calories. At first it's like hell, but after a while, you get used to it.
And excercise. Play DDR.

lots of watermelon. It's just water. Also lettuce and strawberries are just water. Then you'll just have the water weight and you can sweat that out.
