My daughter lost one box (10 pills) of her Accutance prescription. Our co-pay was only $5 for 30 pills. Does anyone know if the doctor will prescribe her what she lost and if we will have to pay full price for it? I will be asking myself but I'm interested in finding out now. Thansks.

How old is Ur daughter? Yes for this med the doc will most likely rewrite it or call it in. As for the insurance, No I seriously doubt they will pay for it. They will come back & tell you that enough time has not passed for more, so you will be out of pocket to get these replaced. If he only replaces the 10 that were lost of course it won't cost as much as the full script.
Best of luck to you.

Your doctor will probably re-order it if you explain the situation. Doctors realize that medicines do get lost. As for your insurance, you might not be so lucky there. Most insurances will not foot the co-pay twice so you best be prepared to pay full price for the replacement Accutane.
