Why does North West Airlines have such bad service or should I say the worst service in the world?

They do not give anything complimentary and they always delay flights. Also everyone who I've spoken to hates North West and calls it cheap. Frontier is WAY better and so are all the other airlines.

Please, elaborate.... I have found NWA to be a very good airline... I have never run into any problems with customer service people or F/A's... I look foreward to hearing your side of the story...

Ever since the merger with Republic Airlines and the Pilots, Flight Attendants, and Ramp Agents operating on two union contracts each with different pay scales, the NW employees were like soldiers in Eastern Europe during WWII. Employees had to relocate depending on union seniority. Employees always know the latest about the company's finances. Make sure you plan ahead by bringing things to do, your own solid food,check in on line, arrive early enough and smile. When traveling into or out of Memphis, Minneapolis, or Detroit, they have the market. Less than fifteen minutes late is not counted as late. Late? Try to make a quick connection in Amsterdam. You go half way around Europe before getting to the terminal after landing.

"and they always delay flights" Absurd comment as if they CHOOSE to delay flights. I am going to take a wild guess here and say that you flew on them once and your flight was delayed!!!! Complimentary things? With the cost of fuel and the way the industry is now, you will not find too many complimentary items on any US airline!!!! (minus non-alcoholic drinks)
