find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

there is no secret... But you know that already. The trick is to find ways to be active (exercise) even with buy schedules. Then combine it with the right diet.
I cannot find it now, but I saw an article on young mothers basically using their young child as part of exercise programs. Sounds a bit "wtf?" but they used the toddlers as substitute weight, and do exercises, much like in a gym. Example; they laid on the floor, and did a motion like a bench press while holding the child. I read that all mothers saw this as a bonding experience, and made them and the baby happier.
If your busy schedule is due to work/office; you need to 'force' some exercise during the day. That can be easy actually = take a flight of stairs. If your office is above 8 floors, then use the stairs to go to a bathroom on a higher or lower floor. Switch from sitting to standing while working (or do meetings standing up). Hold your feet of the floor while at the desk, do sets of that, etc etc. Could be all you need to do is have a 20 minute walk during lunch breaks.
Good luck

Substitute some of your daily food choices for better ones.
Bring a bag of carrots with you to work...eat a VERY big bowl of oatmeal in the morning (it fills your stomach and won't let you get hungry until lunch)...get off dairy - switch to SILK Soy Milk.
Try to eat one less snack during the day - and do not eat what's on you kid's plate (throw food out, don't finish the little bit that your kid did not eat).
Good luck!

try to only consume a certain amount of calories because the human body is like a car you consume food that contains calories and carbs your body takes this in and forms energy if you don't burn that energy your body stores it in the form of fat so i would recommend eating smaller portions and if you eat fast food or something you should not eat for the rest of the day so that you don't carbo load....also try to lay off the sugars. goodluck

easiest way is to eat vegetables all the time. no more meat for you.
and eat cereals, oat meals,etc.
of course, exercise. you don't need to join fancy clubs. don't make big plans. say, you want to walk for 10 mins everyday. or you want to do situps for 5 mins.
when you park your car in supermarkets, park it as far as possible. all those little things add up.

Try getting up maybe a half hour earlier, and go for a quick jog. Or anytime during the day when you have extra time.
