Birds have a terrible sense of smell, soak a rag in ammonia place it near the nest in a tupperware container with holes poked in. The smell strong enough to drive most cats and other animals away.

I don’t know how well this works but I read that, if you scatter large cat poo (like a lion, a tiger, cheetah or a species like that), the smaller cats don’t come as they think that a large cat is present – I think it has something to do with scent marking.
Getting large cat poo is the problem, may be you can try the zoo or a circus.
I too had the same problem, in New Zealand (that is where I live) the zoo refused to give cat poo saying that is some risk or other. What I have done now is added plastic mesh around the garden, that prevents cats coming and watching my aviary.
Good Luck!

You can't. Cats are carnivorous predators. Every cell in a cat's body tells it to kill helpless creatures. The cats will find a way to get to the nest.

Catch the cat and take it to a shelter. If it is someones cat they should keep it in or leash it. If its a stray it should be taken care of. I sometimes set live traps when the strays get to many. They carry disease and damage property.

The only way is to bring your cats in and keep them in.
they are natural hunters and that is their nature.
there is nothing at all if they are outside.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Good Luck.

it depends on how they are getting to it....if they are climbing a pole of a tree put some piping around it so that it is slippery and they can't climb up to it....
