I am furious. I have voted Democratic my entire voting life. I don't think I ever will again. And the Republicans have sold us out too. We don't even need a new bill. Just enforce the laws we already have.

I still think we should just ask Mexico to become a State, once that was done, the mass exodus from there to Here would grind to a near halt. as a State they would have to have there own Health and Human services, and welfare system, Employer would have to pay atleast minimum wage, and there would be no reason to up and go anymore. They could be smarter and ask to be a Possession like Puerto Rico, they got there ducks in a row, they get all the benefits of statehood, yet cannot be drafted, they are totally funded by the US taxpayers, and Pay no federal or state taxes, Education is paid for by the US government and other states. sure they can't vote, but thats doesn't effect them or there status. so maybe Mexico should become a Possession and reap the big profits and freebees. Or they could go the other extreme and become a commonwealths like Massachusetts and Virginia, and tax there people to death, because they receive no federal aide. anything would help slow the migration north-ward I think. as a last resort they could take a few shots across the U.S. border, declare a war, then an hour later sue for peace, and have the US rebuild there entire infrastructure like we Did Germany and most notable Japan after WWII.

Yeah, but we'll get over it. We always do. That's how they keep getting elected. Even now we're all upset about illegals coming here to take our jobs, but we've forgotten all about Outsourcing, and we never did figure out why jobs went overseas to begin with. We never connected that to tax rates, and OSHA, and EEOC, and all the other government regulations that make Outsourcing the smarter move. We don't even complain when the service we get as a customer suffers, we just talk slower for the guy that really doesn't speak English, because we don't want to have to be put on Hold and we damn sure don't want to call back and go through that stupid menu again.

Are you really serious about it? What are you going to do about it since elections are 18 months away?

If you want to get serious, why not take note of any business that has "press 1 for English" in their call menu, or connects you to India for Customer Service, and just stop doing business with them.

Are you serious, or not? I suspect you're not nearly as serious as you think you are.

I wish the troops would come home & start going door-to-door. If I broke into your house, helped myself to your fridge, ate your food, drank your beer, went to sleep in your bed, then sued you to force you to support me in your home after you came home PO'd,...how would YOU like it? Same thing.
Want to see the ruin it may do to our nation? See these YouTube videos,"Illegal Immigration Effect on Demographics" ... and... "Tom Tancredo - Immigration and 'Cultural Assimilation'. " The first one is not by Tancredo and is simply factual numbers stuff put onto a graph with a man explaining it all.

It does seem that way. I think a lot of us feel betrayed by a government that is supposed to be against illegal activity and now they pass legislation to condone it. Why don't the criminals in prison get amnesty? Open the gates and let them out as well.

Yeah, but no one who matters cares what you pansy-assed socialists think or do. So you go ahead and do what you need to do- assuming evolutionary processes don't wipe you out first. Those of us who are not afraid of a challenge will be waiting.

Yes I do feel the heat and it is proof of human nature. As far as I can see, all of us American Citizens have created the need for Illegal Immigration due to our unreasonable demands for cheap goods and services. We have created a whole Poverty Stricken class and denied those persons services for our own, selfish benefit. Now we are blaming Illegal Immigrants for tax revenue problems while we Americans are still hiding and sheltering our own money to try and screw our IRS. Some of us know that the economic benefit provided by over taxed, over worked illegal immigrants happy to be screwed is better left alone. But some of us would rather keep on doing the screwing.

We can't blame Congress or the president. We really shouldn't blame the illegal immigrant because any of us would do the exact same thing if we weren't chosen in the Green Card Lottery. Are we ever going to take responsibility ourselves? I doubt it.

the best thing you can do is call your Senate and tell him or her that if they vote for amnesty you will vote them out of office then do it
