I would have her prepare her own lunch and take it to school. And, a program like Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem would be good if she is consistent. Also, she should try playing a sport or engaging in other activities would break the monotony of a treadmill.

ask the nutriton guy I used to help my daughter. She needed to lose 25 pounds and so he advised me on what to do and she has lost 18 pounds so far in just over two months. He has advised a high protein based diet which he laid out for me with some all natural supplements and it has been great for her. Try www.myhealthabc.com, All parts of her health have improved and she is so happy once again. I have no more tantrums and long nights of her crying. The guy gives constant support each week and checks on her progress. I would highly recommend you try this. Good luck.

Try the Atkins diet...
But let me tell you something about trying go get teens how to loose weight(i'm a counselor)...it is very mentally challenging to them. She may not show it, but i bet when you push her to loose weight, it hurts because first of all kids can be cruel at school and also, teen girls that are overweight tend to be their own enemy because they really WANT to loose weight but frankly they are addicted to food. Just like drugs and alcohol can be an addiction, so can food. Especially sugary sweet foods.
So i bought a overweight girl i knew the atkins diet book. And she read it, and she got commited to the atkins challenge and was proud of herself when the pounds started shedding.
But her being 15, she has to make that decision on her own. You can't monitor her eating you can give her the resources and support but its really up to her to change her way she lives her life. And i hope she does and i wish both of you well!!!

You know something that really works. ALOT of people are having success with it. B12/lipotropic injections. You can buy them from a weight loss clinic online, and give her the injections yourself... www.mydietsolutions.com
Lipotropics is a fancy word for three amino acids that are essential for the health of your liver. Your liver is the organ responsible for removing fat and toxins from your body, so if it is healthier, it will work better for you. B12 gives you a huge energy boost, which helps you to burn calories.
The vitamin cocktail included in the B12 and Lipotropic shots are compounds that enhance liver function and increase the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder. By definition, a lipotropic substance decreases the deposit, or speeds up the removal of fat (lipo = fat, tropic = stimulate) within the liver. The key amino acids used to make these shots are: Vitamin B12, Choline, Methione, and Inositol.

Make sure this is what she wants. She can resent you for suggesting this. Girls this age are very emotional and have low self-esteem. If she wants help with this, she will ask.
Weight Watchers and Nurtisystem have great results. Try adding green tea (pills or the drink) with the diet.
