I'm sorry you need this. The Irish Gaelic version is:
I ndílchuimhne ar mo mháthair.

Go ndéana Dia trócaire ar a h-anam.
[God have mercy on her soul.]

You may have problems since Gaelic is or can be in one or all three variations. There is Irish Gaelic, Scottish Gaelic and Manse or Welsh Gaelic. You can get this information on line merely by typing in " Gaelic translation or Gaelic dictionary. Keep mind, some of the words are similar or the same. You will probably end up with something like the base words but putting it into a sentence may require a little help.

I have a tattoo showing my Irish/Scottish blood. However, I got my translation from a library book that didn't really differentiate between all three. So , while a Gaelic speaking person may be able to figure out what my tattoo says, it wont be in the correct form.

Good luck

There are only three Gaelic languages:

Irish Gaelic (Irish)
Manx Gaelic (Manx)
Scottish-Gaelic

Old Irish is the mother of all three.

Welsh is NOT a Gaelic language. Like the Gaelic languages Welsh is a Celtic language but from a different family. Welsh is part of the British (Brythonic) Insular family of Celtic languages along with Breton and Cornish. Irish, Manx and Scottish Gaelic are all part of the Gaelic (Goidelic) Insular family of Celtic languages.

Is fíor don Draoi Dall. / The Draoi Dall is right.

Also, if you want to learn Irish, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/philo-celticsociety/ . You will be most welcome.

Freisin, beannachtaí Dé ar do mháthair. / Also, the blessings of God on your mother.
