find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

For a 15 year old thats how much you should weight and your weight is nothing to be ashamed of you are not over weight or anything so you just feel awkard b/c you are not comfortable with yourself,you have to gain conviedence in yourself.Dont stop eating b/c that leads to MANY other problems,you body wont be use to the change if you force yourself to stop eating and then continue to push yourself to make yourself better,you will become very unhealthy b/c you wont get that proteins and fats your body needs to keep going therefore you will see signs like fainting.You cant do that to yourself.That is life threatening and can leave you with a disableity and a sickness that will be with you for life.My family member had a issue like this now she is on medication for life and faints alot, one time she almost died.Do not do that to yourself.

You sound just like my mother did when she was alive reflected on her youth. Your legs aren't fat, they're toned, as you say, and doing what they do best. You're a perfect weight and it's likely mostly muscle. Hey ... you can dance!!! In my wildest dreams. You're probably one of "those" with a great body but can't see it yourself. Take some pride, girl. Don't be so self-conscious. Most people could care less what someone else looks like in a bathing suit. Once in awhile there's the odd critic who makes comments about the obese or the anorexic, but it isn't their place to do so. Be comfortable with who you are, please. Enjoy your dance and your life.

At your height & weight you are definately not overweight. There's always pressure to look "perfect". You need to change your way of thinking before you develop an eating disorder. I suggest reading up on eating disorders, and some self help books before you become a statistic. And don't forget, prayer never hurts.

have you seen your Body mass index
if you don't like how you your legs well (your a dancer) don't stop something you love because you thing your fat. 120 is good
for some one your height i'm your 5'5 i'm that 5'5 and i weight like 160.
as for you legs just go to gym and get them toned

try working out the other parts of your body more and your legs a little bit less... but at 55 120 you have little to worry about

wow, hon, you sound in great shape. dont stop eating. just eat the right foods. try snacking on veggies and friut. they are so good for us. maybe its not you but you need to find a swim siut that suits you. too skinny dont look healthy either. you need more confidence in yourself. i say work on that. but love you first.
