BUT I HAVE SUPER FUSSY NEIGHBORS AND THE MANAGER AND I BOTH FEEL THERE WILL BE COMPLAINTS IF I COVER IT WITH SOMETHING. DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA FOR PROTECTING THE BIKE? ALSO MY SEAT IS A NICE EXTRA SOFT FABRIC AND I DOUBT IT IS WATER PROOF. If i take the seat in i worry about rain getting into the pipe

Bring it in to your apt. It's common practice in the city and college dorms to see someone carrying their bike up/down the stairs. Don't take the seat off then leave it outside, you'd be better off putting a cover on the seat.

i would not pass away a motorbike in a damp or wet area, I save mines in a brick shed and nevertheless placed it under a cover simply by dampness. it quite is terrific you ask the business corporation that made the motorcycle quickly, they in all hazard have an internet site. i'd a minimum of tie plastic bag around the seat and handles, possibly a determining to purchase bag or a black bag, merely placed it over the seat and tie the luggage handles on the backside. If no longer possibly beginning a partition to get a college motorcycle safeguard would be a solid theory. I actually can't think of of a college (familiar or Secondary) that would not have one in my area, some even pass to the quantity of having plastic partitions for the safeguard, no longer in basic terms a roof. desire this facilitates, Kieron. P.S: if achievable, placed it on the part of a development or wall once you pass away it, that's going to recommend that the rain can come from one much less course.

Bring the bike inside with you. Removing the saddle will allow rain to attack the frame and bottom bracket greatly reducing it's life.

It bike it self would not get damaged in the rain but I'm sure your neighbors wouldn't complain if you just put and seat cover. Be sure to prevent rusting.

Unfortunately, there really is not much you can do to protect the bike. I would suggest that you keep your chain and cables well lubed to protect them or you will notice a difference after one rain storm.

Is it possible to get a bike hook, and hang it under the eaves? That would certainly help, and would provide an "away" place that might make the neighbors happy.

i would suggest bringing it in. theres not much you can do to save it but u can keep it in good working condition by lubing the chain drive and keeping everything working. bring it in and keep it in your room. im sure the landlord wouldnt mind if you made sure you did not scratch up the walls and etc. otherwise lock it under something that wont move and keep cleaning it

I would bring it inside if you can. Be sure to put something under it so it doesn,t ruin the carpet or other flooring.
