Just basically you should eat less, and healthier, and exercise.
I am currently dieting and in three weeks I went from 141lbs to 132lbs.
For exercise I do sit-ups, lunges and squats, run half a mile a day, and I do some weight bearing exercises with two five pound weights to tone my arms.

Don't eat less! Eat healthy! Don't eat junk food. You should eat more homecooked meals if you don't. Try and eat fruits, vegetables, and meat every day for all the vitimins, calcium, etc.
Also you should start excersizing 30 mins to an hour evdery day along with eating healthy. You should pick between something like jogging, working out at the gym, or doing something like a type of martial arts or yoga.
I hope this helps you. =) and don't buy the food on that commercial that says if you eat it for a month you'll lose like 50 pounds. It probably has something nasty in it that will make you sick later on ;)

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

The safest way to lose extra weight is to eat healthy, drink more water, and exercise more. Also, cutting out sodas and alcohol will make a big difference.

exercise more, and try avoiding foods that are high in calories and fats. eliminate junk food as much as you can. work out a lot, doing different types of crunches and push-ups. also you can try running for 30min every day. however, make sure that you consume a lot of veggies and fruits, and liquids.
