A fellow teacher of mine is doing a portfolio and needs a recommendation letter from everyone on staff. The problem is, I don't work closely with her at all. I've never seen her teach or interact with the children; basically all I've seen of her is at the staff meetings. How can I write her a letter of recommendation??? What should I include? How can I be general yet sound sincere?

I don't know why she needs a letter from everyone on staff. That seems like overkill.
You might just mention that you work with her and have found her to be very helpful and cooperative, knowledgeable, dedicated and caring. If she is on certain (academic) committees you might mention that. You don't have to mention anything about her teaching or interactions with children.

Why does she need so many letters?

Anyway, since you don't know her that well, you can address the things you know:

1. Work ethic
2. Professionalism- shows up on time, dressed properly, conducts herself well, etc.
3. Interaction with students, staff and parents
4. Anything special about her? Volunteers for committees, shows up at student events, talks to parents, etc.

These things should help in your letter of recommendation.

Good luck.
