That's what they are taught to do in their kingdom ministry school. They meet 5 times a week and the same old thing is worked over and over until you become like a robot. If you want to throw them off track talk about Jesus Christ and they will constantly change the subject.

Because you still haven't listened! What about you quoting that same old tripe of the dead spirits running around? That driville has been around pagans for thousands of years and is no more true now. You can't find out from man, who has never died and come back!
And yes, God does want us to live abundantly. He also put certain restrictions on us to a) show He has the right to rule, and b) to keep us from harm. A great many people have gotten sick or died from side effects or directly from transfusions.

We do not quote rubbish, we quote what is in the Bible. Maybe it would do you some good to actually read the truth, and maybe you shouldn't believe other peoples opinion, you need to find out the truth for your own, not what your preacher tells you. And I think that you need to do more research on the blood issue. In the Bible, and from a medical stand point. Jehovah does want people to live, but if something comes up, and if it goes against Jehovahs law, we have to obey Jehovah. I would rather die from lack of blood and know that I will be ressurected, than have a blood transfusion and live, knowing that I went against what Jehovah said. And, um, where in the Bible does it say that our loved ones are aware of whats going on??? You said it, Ecclesiates 9:5 The dead are conscious of nothing at all. Maybe its not our answers that are the same thing over and over again, maybe its the questions, too.

Arguably if a segment of the population makes choices that increase their likelihood of dying (ie choosing not to avail themselves of appropriate medical assistance to overcome illness) they will slowly die out.
This evolutionary principle is what ensures that the fittest survive. Therefore this is a self satisfying process that ensures that those who adopt wrong-headed beliefs (indicating a lack of ability to think rationally or perceive effectively) or accept things unquestioningly (another weakness) will slowly be removed from the gene pool...
And so the species gradually improves...
But what is perhaps most significant here is that people become too involved with 'human' interpretations of 'religion'. William Hacker makes the useful observation that the word religion derivies from 'religia' relating to the personal relationship we have with God.
In the end we each have to face up to our own wrong doings and wrong headedness, on the day of reckoning. We should all have considered our personal realtionship with God well before this time.
Ultimately God's message is simple and clear -- for this world to be a better place we should love our neighbours and treat them as we would wish to be treated. If we all did this there would be no more problems in the world!
It is just a shame that people get more wrapped up in the interpretations of the biblical (or other religious) texts rather than grasping the simple obvious message and trying to live in observation of the same.
(I should, howvever, add that there is MUCH questionable in current 'modern medicine' and it may well be that the JW's aversion to blood transfusion is not as stupid as it seems at first glance.)

You must in a real panic over next week's program on PBS about the JWs. Afraid it might change things. It's just a documentary done by a gay man. It's not going to bite you.
As for your loved ones, why would you want them committed to an endless void, instead of enjoying the potential of the resurrection back to a paradise earth?
You must also think them greater and more deserving than Christ, since he could do nothing in the grave until his Father resurrected him.

We quote Bible Scripture, your spouting hatred. Jehovah's Witnesses don't die because they don't have blood transfusions, doctors agree that it's better not to have a blood transfusion, there is less risk of infection, quicker healing, and no chance of getting a disease from tainted blood. Many hospitals offer bllodless surgery and not just for Witnesses alone, many people are aware of the benefits of bloodless surgery. There are 64 items they can use in place of blood for surgeries. Surgeries are a lot safer now because of Witnesses refusal to use blood according to God's word. Get with the program.

Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
So the bible is a load of tripe?
