Emeril's is medium priced with good food, depends on the menu, lunch or dinner. But if you're gonna be in New Orleans i'd suggest Emeril's Delmonico, a little more expensive but alot better food, atmosphere & service. One of the best meals i've ever had, actually, it was THE BEST!

Once again, prices depend on the menu.

I live in new orleans , and i've eaten at emeril's several times. the food is good , but very expensive. there are many other restaurants to eat at that are just as good if not better and a lot cheaper. a really good website to look at restaurants in new orleans is www.nomenu.com

not so expensive for the quality of food, i wouldn't pay 20-30 a plate at Applebees but i would at Emeril's cause i know the food quality is better. don't be afriad to call ahead fo time and find out the price range, they shouldn't have a probelm with you asking

I'm not sure if it is still there but "Nola", (started and owned by Emeril), is a MUCH better rest than Emeril's, (in MHO). Typically, you would spend about the same at Nola & Emeril's: $30-50 a person. Both are formal attire.

(Make sure to order the soup/gumbo/ETC. And also any entree with a "sauce". )

If you don't drink alcohol there, from $18.00 on up. That does not include tip or dessert. You can drop lots more. If you are on a budget, go when you are not so hungry and split a dinner with someone. You won't leave hungry.

NOLA in the Quarter is also his place. It's not as good but not quite as expensive either.

We ate there in 2001 and it was one of the best meals we could ever have. Reservations are highly recommended. It was our anniversary, so we splurged with drinks and desserts. Our total bill, including tip, came to about $175 for the both of us. But like I said, we splurged.

We also reserved the oven-side seating. It isn't real personal - as you are sitting at a bar-style area with other couples, but it was a neat experience to watch them prepare the food in the kitchen. However, since you are sitting directly in front of the ovens, it is HOT.

Enjoy your meal!
