not so good, would you just let it be that way or would you try to make things happen differently so it would be a good life?

For example, if God told you at the age of 10 that you were going to become an alcoholic & at 20 you were going to drink & drive and get into a car accident & your passenger was going to die & a family in the other car was all going to die, would you just accept that fact & start drinking or would you try real hard not to drink & try to change your future & those people's futures?

I am asking this hypothetical question becuz I've seen many questions here tonight asking why do we bother praying when God already knows the future. And, since God knows what we will do before we're even born, why does He allow us to even be born if we are going to do bad things or we are going to suffer on earth? Our lifes aren't predestined. That's my point. We can change our actions, words and attitudes at any time. Free-will gives us that option. Would U change if He told U?

Certainly.

He'd have to ask personally, not via a printed or human medium, however.

,God doesn't provoke death, drugs, poverty, lack, to anyone, that's Satan's job. Gods plan for the lives of believers is clearly layed out. If i heard a voice tell me i need to become an alcoholic or i wasn't worth anything, I'd say get under my feet devil, i rebuke you and your lies, go back to the pit where you belong. ...God;s word says" Through your word you have imparted life to me. That life restores my body with every breath i breath, and every WORD i speak." John 6:63 & mark 11:23. I don't know whats going on in church these days but somebody need to get back to the real deal, and people... you have a enemy that's Satan!! he is the looser that speaks into the mind and deceives..he is what spread these thoughts..but God sent Christ to set you free and set that looser straight, those words and thoughts are not God, please pray that God shows you lovingly the difference because there is a difference and the voice we need to hear is Christ Jesus., then you will be able to shut the devil down and he will flee.

your future and what happens to you comes from decision YOU choose. not God. He has an infinite number of possibilities of what you will do, but when the time comes the decision is yours. You choose to drink & get addicted to alcohol. YOU chose to get behind the wheel of a car & drive whilst under the influence & in that decision the consequences where the death of innocent people.
God will use you (and your decisions & the consequences for good if you so allow it, but again you have to choose to do the right thing.

If He told me, then He would know how I would change it, and maybe that was the change. But we aren't really predestined... God knows, but we don't.

If that ever happened, I'd realize it was time for a refill on my meds.
