This is one of many factors that has personally led me to conclude that Hell either does not exist, or no one is sent there.
I wonder if there really is pure evil in this world. I think there is right and *wrong* however, and I think that wrong came from the power of free will. That was the option to pick whether to do right or wrong -- argh, I'm getting trapped in circular logic on this one. Good question!

We mostly have to assume what we know about heaven.
Yes, god did create everthing and thus created Satan, But he also created Satan with a mind of his own and choices of his own the make..
I would like to think that the devil does not make you do bad things, he just gives you the idea and the rest is up to you. So evil to me still comes from man.

angels just like humans have free-will!! And lucifer was the guardian/lord of the earth before Adam, lucifer became so proud that he thought he was worthy of the worship only God is worthy of! Up until he was recently kicked out of heaven he was able to be in the presence of the creator just like Michael and Gabriel and the like! He was the creator's 'right hand man' so to speak and knows more about the universe than anyone except the Father and Son! His nature is still that of light-bearer because that's how he was created....he is lighting the embodiment of electricity and like the bible says how he comes as an angel of light....he's the deceiver not by acting blatantly evil but by making you believe he is God so you follow him blindly! Man has been given a second chance because he was the main instrument in having man fall like him! He's smooth enough to have tricked 1/3 of the angels in heaven and they've always had an awareness of their creator. Everything about this world that you think is good really isn't and it's because of him!

I don't know where "evil" comes from. I do know, from scripture, that Lucifer sought to set himself up as high, or higher than God, and the sin of pride, and his choice not to serve, is what undid him. And a third of the angels went with him when he fell.
Just as Adam and Eve, in the garden, had the ability to choose whether to obey God or not.
It seems to me that the potential for evil lies in choice of action, or even in thought.

The angels must have had free will. Satan thought he could be equal or exceed God in power. He apparently deceived 1/3 of the angels with him.

satans ral name is the light bearer,he was casted out of heaven with 1/3 of the angels who questioned gods authority, one problem is the story is fairy talish, makes little sense, but keeps people in check, thier has to be an opposite for everything, light and dark, good and evil, you could not have god without some sort of oppisite rival, how boring would that be,the devil was invented by the writers of the bible, their has been many evil beings going back far past the bible, but the christian popes needed to install fear in their followers,so satan, and his demons who are angels.........makes sense...... the other funny thing is that, in the garden of eden,it was god who lied to adam and eve,the devil told them the truth........eat from the tree and you will die,the devil said you will become inteligent.......

God is all understanding, all effective...the devil continues to be in servant hood to God and become created by using God and he can't do something with out God allowing it. to illustrate: look into the story of activity interior the Bible! activity a million:6-12; activity 2:a million-7

look i don't understand what do you want to say?
but Satan was not evil , he was chooser just like man
so he chooses to be evil
God wants man and Satan to choose there own way
He create them and makes them know exactly what is good and what is bad and leaves them to choose
