I'm talking about the NATION, then what kind of person would Israel be?

First, male or female (and why)?
Then, personality traits (good and bad, if you can think of both)?
Any other attributes?

You can dress him/her, too if you want! I think this should be fun and interesting...

Israel would be female. (interestingly, all biblical metaphors for Israel are female). A hardened young woman, strong and ready to defend herself instead of fleeing like so many other young women. Yet at the same time she's compassionate and dreaming some day she can let her guard down. She's wise, insightful and open-minded, yet has difficulty trusting people after her tumultuous childhood. She knows there is someone out there watching out for her and that gives her strength. I think she's wearing functional and practical clothing, yet dreams of the day when she can throw on that beautiful dress she has in her closet and just stroll in the sun.

I think Israel (as a nation) is a woman with a bad personality coz she did not give the world the impressions that she will be a good Niebuhr that since she exist its war did not stop and she did not give a TRUSTED SHARP CLEAR TIMED PLAN for peace.
I'm really wondered why Israel specially the only country in the world that it did not stop war since she exist.
Did they really can not reach a good solution for there problem.
Politically, only 2 or 3 country against Israel and other surrounded are friends or pretended to do, why she did not take an advantage of this?
If i were in her place, I'll make a flex non-waiver deal with any friend and delegate the friend to negotiate with all others ... and let ARAB negotiat ARAB

I kindly suggest all who answer this question to re-answer after watching the news

Well yes. Yes indeed. You too can become "pro-Israel" It's easy. All you have to do is study the history of Israel and its peoples, right from the beginning and you too will be pro Israel The ignorant, the uninformed all fall prey to propaganda, they believe staged publicity stunts, they want so badly to hate the Jews, just as the Catholic church has been teaching for centuries upon centuries. Become learned, and you to will support Israel in this, its final battle, We have a vested interest. After they come for the Jews, they will come for us. Read the Bible, read the Koran. I am an atheist, but Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and they will die and kill for the Koran. Better find out what is in there for you. They don't hate the Jews. They hate the Christians, and they will turn them all into believers or they will destroy them. So even the atheists are not immune, because they too are infidels.

He'd be called Srulik! And he'd look like this: http://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%A9%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%9C%D7%99%D7%A7 (srulik was an Israeli cartoon drawn for many years. there's an English translation on the right side, below)
Honestly, there's more to Israel than just wars. We're also a simple down to earth hard-working, fun-loving nation. A bit naive and young, as Srulik grows up and learns (and goes through politics and the IDF) he makes decisions, some good some bad.
But Israel has also grown up, and Srulik doesn't completely fit the job description anymore. Today I'd say Israel is a working mom. Business-like and sharp, but tender when it comes to her children. Messy sometimes, as even mothers have a hard time getting everything down- but at the end of the day you've got to hand it to them. No one could have handled the job better.

*I think Israel can be described both as a male and as a female.

p.s. i liked ur q very much! :)

I see Isreal as a Grandmother. Not only does she protect and love and comfort her children but her grandchildren back to the beginning. She was laid desolate by the romans she was beaten in wars but she never gave up she never stopped exsisting and loving. She was the hope and dream of all Jews. She became strong again and started to gather her people once more(her family her children she stood strong and proud and she knows GOD is with her so she took all the others hit her with and still stands strong inviting her family to come home. She is a Proud beautiful person. She will always be.
