The ankh (symbol ☥) was the Egyptian hieroglyphic character that stood for the Egyptian word ˁnḫ "life". Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. It is also known as the Egyptian Cross, or as crux ansata, Latin for "cross with a handle".

An Ankh is an Egyptian cross and the Christian cross with the circle connecting the four segments is a Celtic cross so they aren't the same thing, and look a bit different besides.
If you look up symbols of ancient Egypt you'll find info on Ankhs. If you look up the Christian conversion of the Irish (who originally were sun-worshipping Celts) you'll find info on the Celtic cross.

The ankh is the egyptian symbol of life. In the ancient world it became a somewhat popular symbol in surrounding cultures. Take care NOT to draw false parallels between christian symbols or iconography with other religions as some uneducated cult proponents do. Just because things can appear simular doesn't mean they are. A good place to start is Britannica Micropedia.

It is called an Ankh, it is a pre-christian, Egyptian symbol of eternal life. It isn't a circle on top of a christian cross. It has nothing to do with the christian cross.
It has a tear shape on top of a T shape.
