I had ordered a camera at Target.com and the order has been delayed. I was going to use that to take pictures at the end of the year, but now it's not coming until July. What should I do?

Instead of going to a retailer like Target or Best Buy or Circuit City, I recommend buying your camera and camera equipment from a true camera store such as B&H Photo or Ritz camera. Because these stores cater only to photography, the chances are good they will have your camera in stock.

Yeah. What did you order? Maybe we can suggest something as good or better for a similar price or maybe we can find another supplier for you.

Cancel and start over again.

Or you can win my eBay auction for Item No 200110531132 and you can have your camera by the 25th or 26th of this month. :-)

Go buy a couple cheap disposable 35mm film cameras to tide you over. When getting the film developed request a CD of the pictures so you have digital images too.

Cancel your order and get your money back! I'm sure you can find it at another camera store that is local and you should get it in plenty of time!

Plan ahead?

Sorry, couldn't resist ;o)

Here's what to do: see if any of the camera stores in your area have a rental department (you may have to find an outfit catering to pros) and rent what you need.

Hope this helps.
