It is true as cultural influences change the expression of mental health and how it is dealt with changes accordingly.. One can believe that the famous people through out history had been touch by God or in fact suffered from some kind of mental disorder. The most famous that I can remember would be Joan of Arch. She is well know for hearing voices that helped her wage wars. One can see how culture effects the expression of mental disorders every day... For example why is it that in America people are depress show signs of either fatigue, anger, over eating, under eating, shut ins ect.. while in Asian countries depression is not prevalent in the culture.. In fact in the somatic forms are most common. Somatic referees to individuals complaining about health problems. Etc my hand hurt, back aches, arthritis, chest problems, etc.. any thing dealing with the physical body..... They are depress but the expression of it is not like in America they complain about physical problems... That does not mean that these individuals do not actually suffer from physical pain....Remember the mind is a powerful organ it will manifest the pain if you truly believe it is there...If you are interested in learning more think about looking up information dealing with multicultural psychology.. i hope this helps......

No one group should be generalized, including the group of people (1% of the population) with schizophrenia. Delusions & hallucinations come from the schizophrenics' subconscious minds, and manifest as a perceived reality. Whatever the person with the mental illness had in their minds before they became mentally ill, whether it's Christianity or atheism or Wicca or anything else, that will stay in their minds when they are sick, but may seem more real to them when they are sick. I'm not a doctor or anything, so maybe you should on sites where there a professionals who can answer your questions about schizophrenia.

People needed to answer questions with the knowledge that they had. Now, we are fortunate to have a better understanding of the human mind and human behavior. There are treatments and medications. The way they are identified, the way they are stigmatized and the way they are treated have changed, but they have been in existence for ever. Schizophrenia is a disease, and it can not be caught from a Christian or devil or anyone else. It is a disease of the mind. If this is something that is of interest to you, please take the time to research mental health. It is a fascinating subject.

There are different types of schizophrenia. The ones I know do not focus on religion, but hear voices or see things. Joan of Arc may have been schizophrenic, or perhaps she did get messages fron God. Paranoid schizophrenics are the worse because they can be violent. Maybe the VT killer was paranoid.

First, I disagree with a number of what you're being advised right here. once you're saying "provided a job" is this in writing? if so, she's risk-free and could tell the actuality. The questionnaire sounds like it may desire to be touching directly to medical wellness coverage. if so, in no way lie on those types. they are going to locate out in a heartbeat and this could cancel her coverage. If the supply isn't very final, i could examine with an legal expert. It won't value lots yet this could properly be a complicated area (it additionally relies upon on what different aspects are contingent). finally, this could be a terminology subject, yet pink Bull and rigidity, etc. do no longer integrate for psychotic episodes (interior the real experience of the be conscious psychotic). this is not probably clean what befell to her, yet i could be careful approximately consistent together with her very own phrases that she's drug unfastened. you may desire to be maximum appropriate that this replaced into purely a one-time meltdown, yet until you have considered her medical information and characteristic information of what replaced into present day in her gadget, i could proceed with warning on that one. stable success!
