You asked whether it hurt more in the chest area or stomach: It depends on what you have going on (ie: peptic ulcers, GERD, etc). Try Tums. If that doesn't curb it, let your doc look into it. There are many good prescription meds for the problem.

Yes you can get immediate and long-term help (cure) with natural products! I know because I suffered many years until an herbalist helped me. However, it depends on what's going on with you! Papaya/mint combo will give temporary relief, but you also need to seek out the cause and work on that. That's great for occasional heartaburn/gas, etc. But if your intestines aren't moving well, you need to address that. If you're using PB often, you really need to find a good herbalist. There are a number of contributing factors. You're on the right track- digestive problems can be simple to fix.

If what you have is truly heartburn, I think Tagamet works the best of all--you can buy it over-the-counter. However, you do not state your age. My good friend of over 20 years--she was only 58 years old--complained of heartburn one day while at work. Two days later, her daughter found her dead. Please don't wait to see a Dr for indigestion or any kind of chest pain. It is so much better to be safe than sorry.

there are many different over the counter indigestion tablets you can try, just ask the pharmacist. Papaya tablets are very good for stopping indigestion. You can purchase these In any health food store. I advise you to see your medical doctor even though this seems mild, because it could be a sign of heart problems.

Some folks use the remedy listed on a box of baking soda. Some swear by Tums.
Don't lie down within 2 hours of eating.
Lighten up on greasy, acidic and sweet drinks/foods.
Go to doctor.

pain related to your heart is often described as indigestion or heartburn....how often are you having this, how old are you, what are you doing when it comes on, what have you tried to make it go away? Could just be indigestion, could be gallbladder, could be ulcer, could be heart related...only your doctor can differentiate

Take a big swig of apple cider vinegar. It will settle your stomach and help with the acid reflux.
