1) Section & pin your hair. Take each section one by one, twist & trim off split ends that stick out. Use small scissors, ex) cuticle or baby scissors.

2) Use a super absorbent hair towel to reduce drying time. ex) Aquis or The Body Shop

3) After shampooing & conditioning your hair, comb out tangles starting at the bottom w/ a wide tooth comb.

4) Use a heat protector before using heated styling tools.

5) Joico K-Pak shampoo & conditioner are the best for damaged hair. The conditioner can be use daily or as a deep conditioning mask.

6) Avoid using styling products w/ a lot of alcohol; stick to ones w/ alcohol lower down on the ingredients list.

7) Run a drop of jojoba oil through the ends of your hair. It will add a bit of sheen & makes a good leave in conditioner. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic & washes out easily.

Any 2 in 1 shampoo is cr*p. Shampoos remove grease from your hair, and conditioners moisturise it. Try a leave-in conditioner and don't straighten your hair too often. I also got this great moisturising spray from my hairdressers although it's not sold in shops, but you can have a look. Its called a Moisture kick conditioner, brand is Schwarzkopf Professional and it says Bonacure if that helps :S But its great, and you can feel the difference straight after spraying - smells nice too A couple of other tips are when brushing hair, start from the bottom and be gentle. And try different shampoos to find what one suits you and your hair. I found that Aussie is good for me, although the smell isn't the best :)

I'm not sure how long your hair is, but I'd recommend frequent trims, leave-in conditioner, and Redken's Extreme conditioner. Remember, your hair is nothing but dead cells. You want to keep as much moisture in it as possible to prevent it from drying and cracking, which is what a split end is. I wouldn't go to Ebay to get hair products, they could be tampered with or not even the real thing. Just spend a little money and go to Ulta.

Minimize the heat that you apply to your hair on a weekly basis. Deep condition at least once a month. Try Sebastian 16.9 ounce 2+1 Deep Conditioning Treatment to start with, especial if you colour your hair.

Frequent trims. Not much, maybe a quarter of an inch every couple of weeks or so. That will also help keep your hair healthy and stimulate growth.

Use a good conditioner. Try Kerastase. It's the best on the market. Kind of pricey but worth it. Try ebay.

Use good shampoo and conditioner, and don't use so many styling products. Get trims often and you should be good.

TRUST ME! I have the same situation every single day until a couple weeks ago I went to the hair place and they told me you're suppose to get a trim and that also makes your hair grow faster. But, anyway they also gave me this hair stuff so maybe if you do what I do they'll recommend you to a hair item and then you're problem''s resolved . Now sense a couple weeks ago my hair has been in shape and easier to work with and I don't have split ends.
