In men, puberty can be stopped by removal of the testicles.

Not recommended.

Stopping Puberty

Even if you found a way to stop it, you would need to keep up the treatment forever- and it would eventually damage your body in ways that could not be recovered.
You say you are 18- you should be almost through puberty at this stage! If you are not, then there are medical issues here that you are probably already aware of.
Please seek guidance from a medical professional before trying anything to change the processes of your body. You can call anonymously and ask questions at a local hospital.

If there are uncomfortable things happening to you because of puberty- sexual gestures or inappropriate relationships you need to call the police!!! It is wrong and you should not want to change your body- change the situation!

I wish you peace with yourself and an end to the situations that are causing you to wish yourself different.

Yes, you can stop puberty.
The most effective method is to take GnRH inhibitors; these are drugs that will block the effects of any sex hormones in the body. They are not permanent; once you stop taking them, the hormones will reassert themselves, and puberty will resume.

However, they can only be administered by a qualified medical doctor, and you might have difficulty persuading one to prescribe them for you without a *very* good reason.

[EDIT]
Rickyboy, GnRH stands for Gonadotrophin-releasing Hormone; they're not addictive, they occur naturally in every body..
A GnRH inhibitor (e.g Goserelin, Danocrine or Leuprolide) prevents them from acting on the body, and thus prevents the physical signs of puberty. They're also not addictive, but they are medically controlled because they are very powerful agents that can have a detrimental effect if misused.

You need to go through puberty in order for your body to grow into an adult. Your bones and brain and other organs need to finish growing.

If you are having issues related to being transgender, you should talk to a counselor or try to find some online resources. There are lots of people out there who have the same thoughts and feelings that you do.

Why would you want to stop something that is natural. Messing with the natural order of things can be risky. Puberty is also a learning period and if missed, I think there would be a lot of major psychological and physical damage. God Bless.

I know just what you mean, but ive come to terms with puberty. Its nature's way of telling you that you're no longer "daddy's little girl". My advice is embrace it, with all its pains, bumps and humps because soon enough it will be gone but not before it leaves its mark. So i guess the short and sweet answer is No, you can't stop puberty. Sorry.

Too late. It sucks, I know, and I'm sorry. I promise the hormones do settle down, and it will happen soon. If you're having problems like bad periods, mood swings, that sort of thing, then the pill might help even you out.

To prevent puberty in humans, you need to remove their gonads before puberty starts. For girls, that means removing their ovaries before they're, oh, eight or so. Maybe earlier, nowadays. So, you see, it's definitely too late.

You can't stop puberty anymore then you can stop the sunrise. There are things we all hate about puberty but we all have to deal with it. Its part of growing up. If you are 18 then you should have finished puberty and are now a women.

Sorry to say this, but Nature always wins - you cant stop puberty, it's a natural thing, it's your body "growing up" you may feel vulgar, but only if you let it get to you too much.

Everyone goes through it.

The only way that I know you wont go through puberty is if you were dead tbh, and lets face it, you dont want that.

I feel that there are some psychological issues that you need to address to help you through this. Maybe you should speak to your doctor and arrange for some therapy to help you get your mind round it.
