Hello. I am 13 years old, 5'4ish. but i feel really self-concious about my body image. I know i shouldn't get caught up in such things, but its like it torments me. I know i am overweight, not insanely, but enough to lose weight. I weight 138 pounds, and I would really like to weight within the range of 125-130. For the past week or so I have eaten breakfast, unlike most girls, but I never eat lunch, and I don't get hungry for lunch either. I have a light dinner too, but it's not working. This isn't about looking good for summer, or being one of the girls in the magazines. I just want to feel good about myself as a person. I know that God makes you the way you're meant to be, but if I was meant to be this weight/look like this, shouldn't i at least feel good about it? Please just give me some tips on losing weight and stuff, or if this could even be possible. Thank you very much. =]

I do exercise, I'm on a swim team, we meet 2 times a week. I also run a few times a week too for about 1-2 miles.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Eat lunch, if you eat too little you could actually gain weight.

You should exercise if you want to lose weight.
