These tablets were made to release slowly in the stomach. When you chew them they go through the stomach very quickly and can cause irritation in the stomach. I don't recommend doing this. Just take them as directed and let them work at their normal speed. They will take care of most pains.

Bad, it could cause irritation to the inside of your mouth and throat. It is coated, or put in a capsule to not dissolve before it reaches your stomach.
