Depending on where you are, you might try a food concession at local games, selling sausage rolls and steak sandwiches. In Australia and New Zealand you can set up a food concession at Bunnings hardware stores for fund raising. I see people there all the time raising money for their schools and sports teams.
You might also try finding out if the sport you're playing is sponsored by any big name brands and if they might be willing to sponsor you
