it all depends on your body fat percentage not on what sclae says.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

That is a perfectly normal height to weight ratio. You're fine. You might look at your lifestyle, though. Are you active? Do you work out, play sports, or jog? If you pretty much just lay around and hang out, you might wanna take up some kind of physical activity. I've got a feeling your Dad just wants to see you doing something. If that's not it, he's being a prick. Go running or biking. It'll give you plenty constructive time away from him. Plus, you'll be improving yourself, AND your self esteem instead of hanging around other kids with nothing to do. Good luck! You should ask your school nurse about your height/weight ratio. She's a professional, and she'll be able to tell you for sure. (Don't mention your Dad, or you'll think she was just being nice)

Why would you dad say that? He's not a doctor and he sounds pretty clueless, because that is not considered overweight, but on the lower end of the healthy range for your weight/height.
