In what type of environment would you expect to find liverworts with a thalloid form?Explain.

Thalloid liverworts tend to be heartier plants than the leafy liverworts. They thrive in a permanently wet habitat.

They need a damp, shady environment. With only rhizoids and a leafy body, these liverworts can dry out easily.
