Their is this girl I like. I have asked what to do before on Yahoo answers. Many people before suggested that since me and her are friends, I should ask her out. But I said no because we weren't like best friends, we are just friend. So I never asked her out.
Now from what RUMORS I hear going around in school that she is going out with this guy Mike. Now I don't like this guy Mike just from the start, I never liked even before I heard this rumor. What do you think? Do you think I should ask her if she's going out with him, and then if she's not I ask her out. Or should I just mind my business, and say that's life. Or something different you may have to advise to me.

And if the rumor is really true, yes I am jealous. I'll admit it, I am jealous of the kid Mike. IF The rumor is true.

Be her friend. But unless you *know* 'Mike' is a bad-news kind of guy, mind your own business. After all, it's not like you two are getting married, at least not for another 5 years or so.

ask mike himself. if he says yes ask her if shes going out w/ him if she say no ASK HER OUT if yes say ok ill see ya!!! and walk away all u have to do is be a great friend when they break up ask her out a week after or she might leave him 4 u cuz maybe ur nicer 2 her than this mike guy!

Well, best strategy is ask her, rumors are nasty and often untrue however they usually do start from a truth
