Your words are too informal to be used. If you are introducing yourself, then this is a new person, and you must use a polite form.:
watashi no namae wa Ashley desu.
The first part is not really necessary in Japanese, so Ashurii desu is sufficient.

I recommend amerika-jin desu, or even better amerika kara kite imasu.
Also, when introducing yourself, doozo yoroshiku (onegai shimasu) is polite and customary.

i think thats good,but it would be nice to hear if you say "watashi no namae wa ashley desu" or "konnichi wa,america kara kimashita ashley to moushimasu,yoroshiku onegaishimasu!"...

You could also say:
konnichiwa, watashi wa Ashley des. doozo yoroshiku. (nice to meet you)
watashi wa amerika jin desu. (I'm american)
you can use kara instead of jin; kara is more informal and jin is more formal.
