you can buy over the counter water pills in any drug store or wal mart. stay away from salt!!! go to your doctor and ask for lasix it is a water pill that works great. i use it after my kidney transplant to help me not retain water. also keep your feet above your heart while yo are resting!

I know someone in my family whose had that prob. You'll probably have to c a doc to get some "water pills" to help reduce the swelling. It could be caused from any # of things. Check out http://www.webmd.com to find out more specific info.
