Why Do Guys Lead Girls On?

Question

I just want to understand why that is. There has to be more to it then the fact that the girl let's him. Why do they do it?

BTW I'm talking about when sex of NO kind is involved.

Because the more females a man can get on his "list" the better he is at his "game" and it makes them feel special if there's more than one female brooding over them. Simple. You can't get a long answer on this one because there isn't one unless some other female wants to vent about men.

Why do girls lead guys on? It's a two way street hun.
Some people I guess have some complexes that keeps them from packing up and leaving after he/she figures out they're on a sinking ship.

UGH i wish i Knew!! personally, i don't understand How a person can Do That to another person.. it's horrible. two guys did that to me.. the first guy was the first guy i fell in love with.. and he led me on for THREE freaking WEEKS.. when he started liking "someone else" ...but yet he still kept telling me he liked me.. i was the only one he wanted to date.. blah blah blah.. all the crap. and then he has his best friend Text me it. Then the next guy laid guilt trips on me because i didn't want him to be a rebound, after that first guy, so i didn't want to lead him on.. because i had just had that happen to me and knew how horrible it felt. but he kept using guilt trips and so i finally went out with him, because i can't be mean and hurt people... so then after we went out, he stood me up for our second date.. saying he really liked some other girl TOO.. lamest story ever. so then HE ended up hurting ME. i think that guys do it to the really nice girls.. the ones that actually are the ones that Really care about them... but guys like more aggression i guess, so then it's easier for them to go out with other girls, while still leading the nice girls on, because well, they are nice, and so i would think it would be pretty easy. so be more aggressive i would say... to the fact that He Knows Who He's Dealing With....

and also guys enjoy a "power trip" - they like that feeling. and they don't think it's as big a deal because it takes them much longer to be emotionally attached to a girl..

Some guys like the control they can have over a girl. Also could be they want a back up girl. OR could be just plain confusion...he doesn't know what he wants.

it's both guys and girls. And sex can be a factor sometimes, as well as other things. They get what they want and then never want to be bothered by u again.

2 c if they will fall into their trap, and once they have them as bait: A) they will make sure that the girl is totally and completly embarassed B) ask her out to c if she really really likes him or C) get in their pants

i think you have got this wrong its not just us girls also do that it has happened to me many times i think sometimes people lead u on because they actually like you but then they dont think u like them at all but they find some1 else

They are a s s holes. They just do that to try to keep them around so if they need them they will be there. Or they are just trying to sleep with them.

We do it because no for sex right then and there but in the possible future
