the idea is ok but it wont work. u see u do that then crime rate will go up. they will just start taking ****. i think are government is capable of getting rid of these millions of illegals. if we spend 50 + billion a yr for them just to be here what makes the differance if it cost us billions of more dollars. stop giving them a free ride a then they will have money to send them back. the companies that hired them they should pay money to send them back. it only right! CA that shouldnt be all that hard to send them back over. and some of the others states it shouldnt be all that hard. and those that came illegal should nrver have that right to ever come here the right way. and if they try to cross the border they should be shot. i didnt say killed. sometimes the old laws we once had woulndt hurt us to have til this day. and those ppl are braking more then one crime. so why let a criminal stay here. when u dont even know them and there back around. theres laws are way different then ares. but they still think there in there country. if cancun is a nice part of mexico and all and alot of ppl wouldnt go to a dump for vaction, honeymoon, spring brake and etc. so why cant the rest of mexico be like that and what do they do with all the money they make from ppl going there? u cant tell me they dont bring in some money in that country! and we have already sent jobs there so what is the problem? maybe if they wasnt worried about drugs and screwing this and that one and having large families they wounld live like **** and not the whole mexico is like that. its like the USA we have are bad places so do they. we have are poor ppl to do they. adn that goes for any illegal dont matter what country u come from. just do it the right damn way!

If the object is to get rid of all the 13 million illegal immigrants then you only have a few options: 1. deportation. 2. imprisonment. 3. Genocide. or 4. Undo the effects of NAFTA and GATT, The World Bank, the IMF and U.S based multinational corporations on Mexico, Latin and South American countries where these people fled economic hardship induced by governmental backed exploitation for greed and profit.
They didn't come here because they love our freedoms, they came because they were poor and exploited. Now they are able to make some monies and are still exploited. It is not illegal immigrants who have driven down the wages and buying power of our fellow citizens, it is trade, economic policies and lack of corporate social responsibility and governmental control and enforcement of these corporation which are the arch enemy of our middle class dreams.
If you truely want to stop illegal immigration you must first address the cause of their immigration then address those companies and individuals who profit from their employment. Oh I guess that would mean actually busting those who are socially irresponsible and profit oriented.

Deportation! All 13 million and their children also, even if they were born here. Cancel the children's citizenship's, make all of them go through legal channels. The only reformation to the Immigration policy should be that anyone over the age of 10 must be able to pass a spoken English class at least equal to a 3rd grader English level. 13 million people not using gas in America would take the pressure off the gas pumps at nearly 500,000 gallons a day. That should be good for about $.75 on the gallon drop over a few months.

Yes, but there are more like 20 million illegals. Today, it was reported that according to the U.S. Census, there are over 100 million minorities living in the USA today and 44 million of them are Hispanics. We can safely assume that well over have of that 100 million is illegal and are committing all forms of treason against the USA. That means that even a 20 million illegal estimate is probably not correct.
If this stupid bill passes, which I just learned is just a 380 page amendment type thing to SB2611 which will now be over 1,000 pages, 400,000 more immigrants will be admitted into the country each year. How will our country be able to feed and clothe all these people? Are we going to start committing some form of genocide to ensure that we have enough food to feed all these people? How is the law going to be enforced when the Government has admitted that it is unable to enforce the laws that are in effect today? This whole situation stinks and we have a Government in force today that is totally treasonous against the U.S. Citizens.

Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !

No.
Most will leave voluntarily if we impose massive fines and jail for people who hire illegals and we prosecute illegals aggressively, confiscate anything they have here and ship them to the southern tip of Mexico to start from scratch.
They will leave like cockroaches sprayed with insecticide.

Against ILLEGAL Immigration...
DeMint Statement on Immigration Deal
May 17th, 2007 - Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator DeMint made the following statement:
“I hope we don't take a thousand page bill written in secret and try to ram it through the Senate in a few days. This is a very important issue for America and we need time to debate it.”
“But the little we do know about the bill is troubling. According to reports, the bill contains a new 'Z Visa' that allows those who entered our country illegally to stay here permanently without ever returning home. This rewards people who broke the law with permanent legal status, and puts them ahead of millions of law-abiding immigrants waiting to come to America. I don't care how you try to spin it, this is amnesty.”

Hey, this is the United States! No one listens to the people here. Our politicians will probably declare them legal citizens and declare everyone else illegal aliens.
