Are you only doing diet, or are you exercising to? I KNOW how hard it is to get started, especially when results are slow, and everything is sooo tasty. Plain and simple, there are no fast fix's. The cleanse that some people are trying to sell are up to $370 for 30 days!!! If you are serious about losing the weight, it's like quiting smoking, you really have to want to. Eat 1600 calories a day, exercise at least 5 days a week, minimum 30 minutes cardio, 30 minute strength training. Diet and gimmicks won't do a damn thing unless you exercise. If you want a good program, look up Body for Life, it's a book, and it's fantastic. Don't buy all the bars and shakes and crap they try to pawn off on you, just follow the exercise (easy to do and start) plan and diet plan. I lost over 80 lbs. OF FAT in under a year, and have kept it off. You might even find one second hand somewhere. The first ten pounds will keep you motivated! All the best.

try the nutritionist diet guy I used, I lost over ninety pounds in the last year and I feel great. He has supported me all the way through. He made sure I never gave up, made sure I never got hungy and the producst he recommended gave me more natural energy than I have ever had. Try www.myhealthabc.com, he listens to what you have to say and then puts together some things that will work for you and away you go. I can go out in public now without feeling sick because of the way I look. Get in touch with him I am sure he can help you. Good luck.

Toxins, please! The reason people get fat is because they eat too much and move too little. Now I'm not saying toxins aren’t bad for you--they are, but they have little to do with your actual weight problem.
Diets and diet pills are crap also. The problem is that most people don't understand fat cells. Fat cells are very flexible, they are cells whose main purpose is to store energy so they can shrink and swell to a point. For example let us say a 100lb person has (this is a very very low estimate, but smaller numbers are easier to use for the explanation) 10,000 fat cells. This person then gains 5 lbs. Do they have more fat cells--no--the fat cells simply swell to contain the extra fat. Now let us say this 100lb person then gains 50lbs! Do they have more fat cells--yes--fat cells can only swell so much so the body makes more to hold the new energy, so now they have 50,000 fat cells instead of 10,000.
Now let us say this person then loses all fifty pounds, do they loose the extra fat cells--no--this is why many people who loose weight gain in back because again and again, they aren’t LOSING fat cells, they are only SHRINKING them! It is the number of fat cells you have determines your set weight point. So if you are 300lb person who loses 150lbs you still have the same amount of fat cells as you did when you were 300lbs. No amount of dieting or diet pills will remove excess fat cells. The minute you go off either your fat cells will start storing fat until you return to you set weight.
The only way to loose fat cells is to maintain a steady exercise regime, only time will allow your body to slowly convert unneeded fat cells, and this is a slow slow process, you have to maintain a exercise habit indefinitely. Lipo also works, but they won't do it unless you've already lost most of the weight anyways. Your body cannot loose more than one pound of fat a week (it is not physically possible!), most diets that claim to loose more are only making you loose water mass.
Weight loss is simple, you need to do three things: 1. Get motivated and stop making excuses (this is the hardest part), 2. Change your eating habits, this will require educating yourself on low fat cooking and balanced eating, and 3. Find an exercise or exercises that you can do at least three times a week. Last year I lost 15 pounds from only walking an hour three times a week. I didn't even diet.

Stop going on diets. Make one small change each week. Some examples
- drink skim milk or 2% milk instead of whole milk
- purchase a pedometer and each week increase the number of daily steps you take by 100 or so.
- Drink 8 glasses of water each day
- switch from sugar to splenda
- Eat 5 servings of veggies each day
- purchase a George Forman Grill to cook your meat. All the grease drips off so you consume less of it.
- Choose leaner cuts of meat.
- Find a workout partner that can help you stick to a workout schedule.
- take the stairs instead of the elevator.
- park farther away from the store.
Remember to make changes slowly so taht they will stick. If you find that you are having trouble maintaining the change you made last week, don't make another one yet. Go on to the next change when you no longer have to think too much about the last change you made. It will take a long time to lose the weight, but once you do it will be easier to keep it off.

Wow. All the people who post specific weight loss aids are definitely spam. I just recently started dieting within the last few days, and all I have done is drink a lot more water, get all the recommend fiber I need per day, and work on the stationary bike for an hour a day (I do it at about 9mph and level 2 resistance) while I watch my favorite TV shows or text. I've already lost 3 pounds.
And Kelley... you are just a rude b i t c h!

Have you considered joining something like Weight Watchers? There you will have a support group. You won't feel so alone in this. I have had several friends and family member loose weight through this program. I would be very leery of cleansing. You are risking messing up the balance of good bacteria in your intestines. If you do want to do this, please consult a doctor first. Just remember there is no quick fix to loosing weight. Healthy eating, exercise, life style changes and support from friends and family...that's what works.

Just start walking everyday for an hour, or you can workout on an elliptical for 30mins a day. Just know you can do it. Even if you just dance around in your room (which is what I do along with the elliptical) just start moving. It's hard at first but you can do this!
Just do something you are going to have fun with and will motivate you.
