I have the distance and the differance in elevations but I can't remember if the % grade is the relationship of elevation / distance or the % of a 45 degree angle. I building a walkway for handicap people and the % grade can't be more than 5%. Aloha

% grade = rise/run *100%

for example if you elevation chages 52 feet over a horizontal distance of a mile (5280 feet). Your % grade is

52/5280 * 100 = 0.985%, about a 1% grade

(difference in elevation)/Distance expressed as a percent.
Makes a long ramp, Doesn't it.
For example, if you want to go up 5 feet you need a 100 foot ramp.

Add up all the scores for each category and divide them by the number of assignments then MULTIPLY: tests by 0.6 quizzes by 0.1 research papers by 0.2 court papers by 0.1 add them together and then x 100%

You take the rise over run average, and punch it into your calc.

add up all the points possible to date. then add up all your points. divide. your point over total points possible. eg: total points possible-28. my pionts-24 my grade 85.7%
