I wear what i feel comfortable in. Theres no rule saying you have to wear things that show off your body. Wear some loose fitting exercise pants, a loose fitting shirt and a sports bra, something that says you're ready for business not flirting. Make sure you wear athletic shoes, and a dependable supporting sports bra. Theres no reason to get all dollied up for the gym, a simple wind breaker material pant, and a cotton T will do just fine. When you are losing weight and feeling a bit better about your body go ahead and wear the spandex to show off the new butt you've sculpted. End of story: wear what you feel comfortable in, if you go to the gym and end up feeling like all eyes are on you you wont go back. And remember theres always going to be people fatter than you there, so no worries. Congratulations on going to the gym, keep it up! GOODLUCK!

I usually just wear a cotton tee-shirt and some shorts. You don't have to wear tight spandex clothes, you are at the gym FOR YOU, not men. Just wear what you can comfortably move around in, but I wouldn't wear anything too baggy because it might flop around and get in the way of you exercising. Just wear an old, comfy tee, shorts, and sneakers!

I am not the skinniest girl on the block and I usually wear loose-fitting clothes. Try a tee shirt and shorts. Sweat pants and tee shirt. Heck even a tank is ok with a good pair of bottoms! As long as it is easy to move in and won't get in the way of the machines you are using then it should be ok!
