Take him, stoop down to his level, and gently grasp him while firmly looking him into the eyes and saying "you have to stop peeing all over, thats what the bathrooms for, its making me upset" and then take him and lead him to the toilet and stoop down again as before, and firmly tell him that he must go potty there, or he will be in trouble. I suggest every time you find that he's gone somewhere else, give him a three and 1/2 minute time out. Remember, always be firm and look him in the eye. I know it might be kinda hard, but this is a big problem that needs to be fixed!!

Has there been a major change in his life lately. Maybe something that he is not too happy about and doesnt' know any other way to express it. Did you move to a new place, start him in a new school? There is some reason he has reverted to just going anywhere. And it sounds like he isn't just going willy nilly, he is seeking out places where it isn't likely to be found for a while (toy box, basement, shoes...)

woah! see a behavior expert before he starts pooping everywhere! ha ha. Okay, seriously though - just a phase. Give him a box of smarties, (not literally) but show it to him. Tell him he can have all the smarties in the box after lunch/dinner. Thing is - "every time you pee anywhere other than the toilet - I take one out. So YOU CHOOSE how many "whatevers" you get for a treat." try it!!!!

Wondering, do you react like this with your boy? He could be doing it just for the attention it obviously gets him.

When 2 of the three of my boys were little the oldest would take his number 2 and put it on the walls as I was taking care of the younger one. I firmely believe it was for the attention that I had to pay to him and not his brother, btw this did not last long!

Anyhoo little ones will do the unthinkable to get attention, any kind of attention....Let your little guy know it is unacceptable and if you threaten make darn sure you follow through with it. Tell him he has to clean it up, worked for me!!

HI . its funny the way you make sound but i bet smells funny too! if he is doing it only in your house he has some issues with you guys. keep him busy and always keep an eye on him so the minute he wants to do it you will know if he is just playing or looking for attention. and try this, every time you give him something to drink remind him that he is a BIG BOY and only A BABY wold not know where the bath room is.
REWARDS ARE ANOTHER WEAEPON US MOTHERS HAVE.
good luck and God bless

You sons eyes nevertheless pee at sixteen? i do no longer think of you're hitting him adequate. and because his pee isn't yellow, I propose you're taking him to a doctor and tell the scientific expert the full subject.

when my son started doing this i told him I wasns going to put him back in diapers, since he was acting like a baby. This made him very defensive, he did NOT want to be a baby!! So, i reminded him that big boys only go in the toilet. It took a few threats of diapers, but it worked! good luck

Something in the bathroom scaring/getting him nerous?

He could think that maybe there is a "monster" in the bathroom.

Also no offense but maybe he doesn't like the smell?

Tell him that if he keeps peeing everywhere..you'll take away his toys or something valuable to him.
