E-2 IS ABOUT 24 AND E-3 IS ABOUT 45 CREDITS.

BUT THAT IS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THEM AS OF RIGHT NOW. IF YOU DONT. THEN IT WILL TAKE 9 MONTHS TO MOVE TO E-2 AND THEN ANOTHER 9 MONTHS TO MOVE TO E-3.

BUT YOUR RECRUITER HAS PROBALY TOLD YOU ABOUT PQS. AND THAT IF YOU DO IT YOU WILL GO TO BOOT CAMP AS AN E-2.

sure. the 1st 15 will negate the GED, so which you desire an added 24 on suitable of that 15 to be eligible for E2.. you're some semester short.. 14 credit. ETA: the army does no longer and has no longer regular Tier 2 applicants in years. additionally the minimum ASVAB score requirement is a 50 whilst a Tier a million candidate.

The navy is a real screwed up organization. When I was in, the Army promoted E-1 to E-4 based on time in grade. For E-5 and E-6, it was based on points and standing a board (which asked questions and evaluated your record.) E-7 and higher was an act of Congress, literally. My how things change. I know that the Army also used to pay for us to go to college and it looked good when promoting.

None, if you are on a targeted program you can be E-2 before you leave boot camp. for E-3 there are course manuals in your rate you will need to complete, these are usually simple, its when you get to E-4 that they start really caring about educating you, and even then it is not too difficult, because you will have been in a while.
