I am ready because I know that I will be in heaven with Jesus.
Only because I am saved and it is the gift of God not by anything that I have done or could ever do.
Are you saved?

I accept that human life is a very very fragile thing and that death can come at any given moment. There is no ultimate plan. There is no rhyme or reason. Yes, every person on Earth has their 'time' ("Oh, he died...Well, it was just his time, you know?") but that time is not pre-determined. That time happens only because it's an inevitability. After I die, my organs will be donated to those who are still alive and who need them, and the rest of me will probably be cremated, donated to science, or maybe even used for something like Bodyworlds (how cool would that be?). What won't happen is what's most important. I won't be ascending or decending. This life is the one and only life I've got, and I'll be getting the most out of it for every second I'm still alive.

Read robert m. on yahoo 360, it tells you what is the next step after being dead. And yes I'm ready to go home but I have spirit work to do first.

No I am not ready, may be so after I have finished pilgrimage to Maccah.
I think and as far as I remember, it is as follows:
After we die, our souls begin to wait.
An hour called doomsday comes.
With the great sound of Angel Israfil's horn, everyone will die.
With the second great sound of Angel Israfil's horn, everyone will come to life again, with their original bodies.
For each person's who died after 15 years old, a weighing of good things and bad things will be made.
If he/she was amoung unbelievers (=Non-Muslims), he/she will be sent to Hell to stay there forever, for being unbeliever is such a great sin.
If he/she was amoung believers (Muslims, i.e. he/she believes in one and only one God that is Allah, in angels, in holly books, in prophets, in the last day(Doomsday, Day of Judgement) and in fate(with the good and bad things are from Allah)), he/she will be sent to Heaven to stay there forever, for he/she passed the exam.
If he/she is Muslim but have son sins, after he have finished his/her punishment in Hell for some time, he will pass to Heaven and will stay there forever.
There is a great hope that who believes in that "There is no God but Allah, and Mohammad is his servant and his prophet" will not stay in Hell forever, eventually he will go to Heaven.
These are not tales. I believe these are the truth. We are not sent to this universe for nothing. The Allah who created us from scratch can also re-create us. All the most honest persons in the history believe and say the same things. They cannot ally in telling a lie.

I am ready.
I don't know what will happen, since I have not met anybody in my lifetime who has experienced death and then returned to tell me about it.
Jesus did, but He's not talking about that.

Nothing. When you die, it's over.
This scares some people so much they make up stories about a magical fairy granting people eternal life.
We call these stories "religion".

I'll be dead. My organs will be donated and my body will be cremated. My parents and family will mourn me. The End.
