I heard guys threatning other guys that they would give them a sorry charlie or something like that, what is that?

comes from 1960's commerical about Tuna where the line
"sorry, charlie" was used.

means today that "you will REGRET whatever"

it means if someone did something wrong to someone named charles and they regret it then they would have to say "Sorry Charlie"
