Hmm, this one really hit a nerve. 54 answers and counting.
Tell your "friend" not to do the crime if she can't do the time. Does she have Internet access? If so, might as well make use of it for research, communications, etc. Something tells me it's not too bad.

Wow 23 days is a long time so your friend must have done something pretty bad to get that. Honestly punishment is there as a way to get you to think about what it is you have done and to think about ways you could do things differently in the future. What I would do is really think about what you have done...take time each day to ponder this and after about a week write a letter to your parents explaining what and why you did what you did to get yourself in trouble, Why what you did was wrong and punishable, What value you got out of the punishment that you received and how you are going to do things differently in the future. This should be at least 2-3 handwritten pages long and signed at the end. This shows that you put thought and energy into this.
In the mean time follow your punishment to the letter. Come home and do all of your homework without asking, do your chores and even a few extras around the house, DON'T HAVE AN ATTITUDE. This shows maturity and integrity. I
If you have truly learned from your mistakes, take your punishment like a grown up, do your homework and chores and then write this truthful heartfelt letter... you never know your 23 days might be cut down and you may be let off with good behavior.

I'd probably go into total alcohol withdrawal! LOL!!
As I'm sure my guards, I mean, mom, would also take away me internet, cell phone, blackberry, Bentley and chihuahua, I would do the following:
I'd try to find some others around me in the same cell, er, boat, and form unnatural relationships with them.
I'd take the time to finally learn to read.
I'd make sure to touch up my roots beforehand.
I would find out what it's like to use the toilet in front of 200 other people.
I'd use the time to kick cigarettes and marijuana.
I'd find out what this thing I've heard about called "strip searches." What are body cavities, anyway? I don't have any cavities in my teeth.
Oh, gosh. The possibilities are endless.

I would try to revise my actions that got me grounded and do better next time as an activity I would say make your parents a card, or another trinket that you gave them in childhood it helps to butter up to them and don't forget to say I love you everyday. All parents really want to do is know that they raised their children as functioning members of society. So whatever your friend did they must be sure to neutralize the situation by apologizing and then completely nulify the situation by amending something like paying for it, or giving something back or giving gifts it all depends.

Apparently at least 52 (so far) of the answers are from people who don't understand your sense of humor, or at least don't keep up with current events. As I said before, you're such a "naughty" girl. I'll be looking forward to your "question" next Friday.

MASTURBATE!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!! I would be glued to my computer and mastubate like every 3 hrs! I would surf all the awesome porn sites and mastubate like crazy. I would need 5-6 vasoline cases cause thats what I use. I would mastubate in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, night, midnight, early mornings, all day long! I would check out all the different porn sites like, pornstars, BBW's, cumshots, MILFS, panties, bikins and download lots of porn videos, lol. but they take a long time to download so I usually download 2-3 at a time while looking at pictures. My favorite pics are cumshots, MILFS and lingerie especcially when they bend over, yay!

I would sit around on the net. I might as well be grounded with two kids under the age of five.

I got grounded for a week and wrote and drew all over my walls in sharpie (nothing nasty, just flowers and hearts and poems)- which of course meant i was grounded for longer, but it was really neat and pretty and didnt cover up when my folks painted. I loved it!

Contemplate what it was that put me in this situation. Then I would work to change my behavior, mature a bit, and find effective ways to contribute to the greatest country on earth, even though the legal system has its issues.
