From a pragmatic point of view, it is because I was born and raised this way. If I were born and raised in some other place to some other family who taught me some other religion, I would believe that one. Beyond that, I maintain my belief because I think it contains much truth as well as philosophical beauty. I don't think my religion is neccessarily the only one that is "true". I think different religions are true for different people, but due to my life, this one is true for me.

I dont believe that only my religion is true. I am open to ideas and views but having looked at all the different option, that christianity seems correct for me.

Because if you believe your religion isn't true, you wouldn't still be in that religion would you? At least that's what I think people think. I like to stay open minded.

Because it works for great for me, and I'm biased.
Then again, I view my favorite band as the "best band in the world", but I don't kid myself into thinking everybody else is going to like them. So I largely keep my religion and my music to myself.

People believe their particular faith or belief system is right and true for them, and they feel very comfortable with their beliefs, regardless of what others say or think.
Almighty God knows our hearts and minds best.
