it seems alot of girls go after the jerks because they don't care if they hurt them. if we hurt or loose a nice guy we'll feel bad, but if a jerk breaks up with us, or we do something to hurt him, who cares better off without him he's a jerk. it makes it alot easier to move on, and to deal with your feelings. not saying its right to act like that but i have seen it alot

Some girls are dumb and think that a jerk can be a good boy friend, but really a jerk will only be a good boy friend for awhile and then start treating the girl the same way and soon the nice boy friend is a jerk, and the good guys never get a chance becuase a lady wants a guy that will defend her and be a man that wears the pants but sometimes the good guys that are really good guys seem like the guys that get stept on by everybody and a girl doesn't want a man that can't even keep them selves from getting pushed around the good guy needs to find a medium give the apperence to her that you stand your ground to get her and be a teddy bear once you got her to keep her

Part of being a "jerk" is tricking people into thinking you are something you aren't.
However, they don't mess it up for 'real' nice guys...there are plenty of chances out there for everyone. You've just got to work a little harder to prove your sincerity, after someone's been burned by a jerk.
Works that way for women too...

I don't think there are any nice guys in the world, I haven't met one yet. Like you said, they all start out nice but after a little time goes by their true colors come out. I've decided there are only 2 types of guys, players and psychos.

Girls may date the jerks but we marry the nice guys. So in the long run the nice guys win.

girls like jerks because we think guys are science projects... meaning we think we can change them and turn them into something else in this case it would be a nicer person.
let me assure you once a girl has had her fill of jerks she wakes up and realizes the error of her ways and seeks out nice guys.
so don't fret believe me i have dated my fill of jerks and now i finally have a nice guy and am so happy... happier than i ever thought i could have been and it's all because of a nice guy.

That's a good question. The only thing I can think of is the jerk has more confidence in himself. It's kind of like when you're single and no one notices you, but once you start dating someone then everybody notices you.The person who is dating doesn't care what anyone else thinks because he/she has someone and feels confident in life and with his or herself. There's something sexy about a person who is confident in their-self and not desperate.
