I used to be a Jehovah's witness. (For the sake of discussion, let's say that means I was a Christian.) When they said Armageddon would come in 1975 and it didn't, I didn't quit. I bought their line that it might have been a simple math error or some piece of the timeline they'd missed. It took me til 2003 to quit them -- become "apostate" by their standards. But it wasn't because the rapture didn't come (or whatever milestone you want to define for the end of the age). It was because I was confronted with the evidence that their leadership was a "false prophet," manipulating their authority over others.
It would be interesting to know how many pure, simple, individual Christians there are... ones that don't feel the need to join up with some organization that explains to them what Christianity is... and to know what their expectations of the rapture might be.

Thats the beauty of it. The rapture can never fail to "ever happen". No matter how long you wait, there is always more time. They can simply say, "well its not time yet"... you see when you make a prediction and don't give a specific time for something to happen, then that's always your "out". A prediction that gives a specific time for happening can be observed to be wrong when the time predicted comes and the thing doesn't happen. That is what is meant by 'falsifyable'. Religionists don't want anything they say to be falsifyable. That way they are guaranteed 100% truthability.

Those only who mock this event shall find themselve in shock and then they will have one of two choices to make. Death or the mark of the beast or Antichrist will is already here in the form of a Micro or verichip implants. This mark is being placed in animals both wild and domistic but the FDA has already approved this device safe for humans. The word of God declairs that whosoever receives the mark Revelations 13, the smoke of their torments shall rise forever and those who reject it shall be jailed and then killed. Go to trumpetmin.org and click on could this be the mark? We are moving to a cashless society but as prophecied 2000 years ago and this word needs to be gotten out to all. The rapture will save those saints who are anointed and called the Bride of Christ and those who reject Christ are found that they will have to make this choice. But wouldn't it be better to receive Christ now, be anointed and be raptured out of the great tribulation period which this mark will be forced on all in order to buy or sell?

it will never happen. The rapture was made up 200 years ago, and was never believed by Christians for most of their history.
