it would make more sense if there was a conspiracy to make global warming unbelieveble.

just for fun i asked a question in polls and surveys and again in religion
who thought Global warming was a lie ,and who was religious ,

granted many people believed in God and also believed in climate change ,

but
the fact emerged that ALL of the people who denied Global warming ,who said it was a hoax ,were without any exceptions ,religious
FACT OR FICTION
many North Americans are used to fiction and they feel more comfortable with fairytales instead of the truth,

Many blindly believe that our fate is in Gods hands ,and their focus is on the beautifull heaven that awaits ,they are not to concerned with the world their children will inherrit

there may come a time that for the sake of our survival the two views will be seperated in to Enemies and friends of the planet
------------------------------...
World leaders are not concerned with the well being of the masses ,on the contrary .it was stated at a conference in Copenhagen,in 1998,by An American statesman , that the Agenda demanded a decrease in the world population of 60%,and you cannot achieve this if you start saving everybody.

scientists who work for politicians ,get paid by these politicians and they have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change

and change effects many peoples incomes, and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.for political and economic reasons
------------------------------...
HOWEVER CLIMATE CHANGE IS FACT FOR MILLIONS
Global warming is a very complex collection of many effects

this text only covers some aspects of global warming mainly man made desertification

industrial contamination ,the contaminating effects of the cities ,is another story

there are natural cycles in the planets life
but mans existance has its effects, and this is increasing with overpopulation, putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms

in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result

in china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert,

,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and many of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,not getting less ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were very few desserts.

collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like, over grazing and fertilizers,

each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss

and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..

Each year 70 million more people have to eat and drink and wash

Farmers are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,
because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary , over grazing, overpumping deep carbon aquifiers

RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
this does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.but the melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.

if forrest are being exchanged for ashalt, concrete and desserts
what is gonna keep this planet habitable for us

We as humanity can behave in a less stressful manner as far as the Environment is concerned ,but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,

We cannot deny that there is no such thing as Global Warming when there is documented proof that the average temperature on earth is on the rise. However, as the many contributors before me have shown us, there are MANY theorized causes to this.

What we need to realize is that the Earth has gone through several periods of global warming over it's long history. In each time it has corrected itself. Scientists and politicians alike will all spout their own interpretations of the current cause of global warming but the truth is most likely a combination of things that we cannot completely control. We will either adjust to deal with the situation or life on our planet will cease to exist only to come back in time and flourish. There is a reason 99% of the species that have existed over history are extinct today and global climatological change is just one reason.

I can tell you it is true from what I can see here in the tropics. I live in the Caribbean and I can tell you that there is a diference in the temperatures in an overall aspect. 10 to 15 years ago the real hot part of the year was between the end of July and end of mid October. Now it gets really hot by April and by August it is scorching hot. It doesn't really cool down until the end of November. We have to do something about it now. You can verify it when you check the temperature records in cities in the US. You'll see that most record temperatures in both ways have been broken in the last 10 to 20 years. Check it out with NOAA and the National Weather Service.

Your question leaves a bit too much wiggle room. Global Warming...as in the gradual increasing of the core temperature of our planet...is taking place. However, the belief that "Global Warming"...as in man's part in it...exists is unproven in any sense of the word (don't take my word for it...look it up on reputable independent scientific websites).

The funny thing that might give you a clue about the reality of our involvement in Global Warming? Look at photos from the first Earth Day observance and you will see pictures on the pending Ice Age.

I've been studying it for 23 years (along with other aspects of climatology). The more reasearch I do and the more I find out the more convinced I am that we're making a bigger contribution than has previously been attributed to human activities.

The evidence I have produced and that which I have seen convinved me many years ago that anthropogenic (human) global warming is a very real phenomenum.

Of course it is true. Every time we come out of an Ice Age, it gradually gets warmer, until we come out of that to the next Ice Age.
Look back, as a Geology Professor. It was a lot warmer than this 65,000,000 when the Dinosaurs dies out. (From Global Cooling I might add).

My suggestion, is everone, look in your driveway, get rid of your 8 Cylinder, pollution belching, 12 mile per gallon, SUV. Take your "Stop Global Warming" Bumper Sticker off it.
Get a bike (I did) and actually become part of the solution instead of waiting for someone to save us.....

Of course global warming exists. That is not what the hoopla is about anymore. The hoopla is about whether humans are responsible or not. Does it really matter who or what is at fault? If we do not do our share to slow the process down, then life as we know it we fail to exist eventually. Every time I see a picture of a polar bear or a penguin I sadly think, Where is he going to live? Polar bears are already averaging to be 15 lbs lighter than they should be because of global warming. What can we do about it? I for one am willing to do my share. If conserving is going to help, why do we worry about who's fault it is and just do it?

I'm not a scientist on this subject, so I can't say.

I don't subscribe to beliefs that I don't understand.

I do listen to others who are experts in this field. What I see is that most scientists believe there is a very good chance that there is unprecedented global warming and it is caused by humans. What will happen is unpredictable, but it could be very very bad.

Given that, I think we should make drastic changes in our wasteful, polluting society. There's no downside. If all the scientists are wrong, it's still not a bad thing to do.

there is no conspiracy. all one has to do is read material outside the box, and the global elite will tell you what they want in the future. read U.N. position papers and manifests. seek out global magazines that interview the people shaping our world. read what the kissingers of the world have to say about "the people".

in short, "they" want population reduction. some say by half. the crazies of the movement want it down to 500 million. (their words not mine) how do they do this? well let us start with war. war is self explanitory. kill kill kill, right...

now, let's move on. now we can throw in a few epidemics, food shortages, economic ruin. moreover, and this is the beautiful part, we can not only blame all this on global warming, but we can make the sheeple believe that it is their fault.

I for one have heard several well known climate scientists involved in the "IPCC" report say the report is wholey a farce and discounts valid scientific methods and peer review. In fact it was compiled by UN bureaucrats planly with one agenda in mind. "Human causality'

I was a conservationist before the ecomarxists took over the environmental movement. I do know one fact, the earth's temp has risen 7/10s of one degree over the last one hundred years. I don't drink the ecomarxist koolaid and I don't believe for one second (based on scientific reasons) that man is contributing to or has caused it.

I ask that people perform personal due diligence. Normally intelligent people, for some unknown reason have bought this myth and seem to think that it is valid.

I would caution all to be reasonable skeptics 1st when it comes to climate science..
Here are two very good websites for information.

Also, consider the motives of those who "preach" Global Warming as "g"ospel.

it is NOT about the environment, it is about Control.
If anyone reads, re-read 1984, re-read DasKapital and Marx's Manifesto, check for parallels between the Global Warming mythos and Marx's suggested methods of disseminating information.

Reason debates based on facts. eco-marxism is attempting to stifle debate.

Do your own research. Be a skeptic. preserve the personal liberty of all, be smart PEOPLE WAKE UP!! YOU are being feed SOMA!!
