Alright, I know that body hair is natural an whatnot, but I can't stand it, not on me at least.. I shave my arms, my legs, my pits, an of course my * coo coo * but when I shave there I get knicks an cuts, and it doesn't feel very good down there and it gets all itchy from razor burn..

What I'm wondering is does anyone know of any product I could use to make this process simpler, or less painful?.. I know you can't use Nair or anything like that stinky stuff on your privates, but I'm seriously getting tired of shaving, because the aftermath just sucks..

So if anyone knows of anything, please do let me know.. Thanks a lot..

I know of waxing, but I'd prefer something I could do myself, I'm quite shy when it comes to my body..

P.S. I'm not gross, I think it's gross to not shave there.. Thank you very much!..

hey, I stopped reading at the itchy part, in order to stop the itching you have to use a trimmer (electric one) a hair trimmer like a mans electric razor but, for women, you will not itch at all, the reason you itch is because if your shaving it all off, it is coming in thicker and a lot more course, if you use the hair trimmer, you can get almost all off and with the special blades, that is what they use in the salons. I had to shave one time for a surgery and now I use a trimmer, much much better and it's stops moisture and infections.

Girl, get a wax! Or go with laser hair removal for permanent results. Neither really hurts and the results are def worth it!!!

Good luck

You can try waxing or laser hair removal.
As far as "down there," you might want to consider a buzz instead of a shave...unless you want to do laser there, too.

Try going with the grain when you shave, also a good shave cream works wonders. make sure you put lotion on when done but do not use anything with perfume.

try a mans electric razor while your skin is dry. i have the same problem and that works really well for me...then put baby powder on the areas that rub but of course be careful not to get it in anywhere... :D hope this helps...

actually you could use Nair or other depilatory cremes, you just let it set for less time, usually i let it set for the recommended time minus one minute. (ex: if it says eight mins. do it for seven. ) the only thing is be very careful not to get on or into your "front crack"! and make sure you cleanse it thoroughly when your done!
