I'll be in Copenhagen for a week and I was wondering what are some of the good places where I could hangout/walk around/relax?

Christania is cool. Its an old Navy base that was occupied by hippies in the 70s and they still live there. Lots of interesting people. They used to sell hash and pot openly on the street at little booths but that stopped in 2003 because the EU was putting pressure on Denmark.

Also wandering around in the streets in the city center is nice. There are a ton of really cool little squares that are kind of hard to find but if you just walk around in the area near Stroget you will find them.

Also Nyhavn is fun at night during the summer. It is basically 400m long strip of bars and cafes along a harbor. Lots of young people sitting there drinking their own beer along the water since the bars there are expensive.

Tivoli is a good one, it's an amusement park. Another is this place in Lejre that's basically a big huge layout of a stone-age and midieval village where you go through and see how people lived back then. Sometimes the best places to see in Denmark is just the gorgeous countryside and the ocean.
